I will never forget the day I took this picture. I was on a solo trip through Wyoming and did the "walk" around the base. It was a cloudy day and had rained a bit right before my walk. I met some nice folks who were enjoying the day as well and they took a picture of me at the base of the Tower. It reminds me of the movie "Close Encounters", of course, but I don't believe there is a landing strip for aliens anywhere near by. LOL!
